Terms & Conditions
1. Nature of Floral Preservation
Floral preservation is a delicate, organic process. While the Artist will use professional techniques and care:
-
Some fading, discoloration, or textural changes may occur over time due to the natural qualities of flowers.
-
The Client acknowledges that final pieces should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from heat or humidity, as environmental exposure can cause deterioration.
-
Flowers are preserved in the condition in which they are received. Bruising, browning, or damage cannot be reversed.
-
Client understands that preservation outcome will vary depending on flower type, age, and handling prior to arrival.

2. Design & Creative Process
-
The Artist will use professional judgment to create a custom design using the best-preserved blooms. Not all flowers may be used, depending on their condition.
-
A mockup photo will be provided after pressing, offering a general layout preview. The Client may request up to two minor revisions after receiving the mockup. Any additional revisions will be at the discretion of the Artist and may incur additional fees.

3. Product Limitations
-
Flowers will be used as-is; their quality depends on their condition upon arrival.
-
Non-floral items (e.g. ribbons, pendants) may be discarded unless a return is requested in advance.
-
Extra or unused flowers will not be returned to the Client unless specifically requested in writing at the time of flower drop-off or delivery.
-
Any unclaimed flowers may be discarded at the Artist’s discretion once the final design is complete.
Resin Products
-
Resin items are handmade and may contain minor aesthetic imperfections, including small air bubbles or uneven surfaces. These are not considered defects.
-
Resin items are not guaranteed to be heat-proof and may crack or break if mishandled.

4. Payment Terms
-
$100 Deposit is non-refundable and due before the preservation process begins.
-
Remaining balance is due before pick-up or shipment.

5. Refunds & Revisions
-
No refunds or returns will be offered after the final product is delivered.
-
The Artist will consider concerns on a case-by-case basis, but adjustments are not guaranteed. All sales are final due to the personalized nature of the work.

6. Intellectual Property
-
The Artist retains full ownership and copyright of all designs, concepts, and final images.
-
The Artist may use images of completed work for marketing, licensing, or publication purposes.
-
While inspiration photos are welcome, the Artist will not copy other creators’ work.
-
The Client may not reproduce or sell any images or products created by the Artist without prior written permission.

7. Timeline
-
Estimated completion time is 2 to 5 months, depending on flower condition, order volume, and design complexity.
-
Timelines are approximate and subject to change. Delays caused by drying time, redesign requests, weather, frame design, communication delays, or holidays will not be grounds for refund or cancellations.

8. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
-
Deliver flowers promptly and in good condition.
-
Provide timely communication and payment.
-
Handle all finished pieces and resin items with care.
-
Understand and accept the natural variation and limitations of preserved floral artwork.

9. Shipping & Delivery
-
The Artist is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by postal or courier services once the item has been shipped.
-
All shipments are packaged securely, but clients are encouraged to request insurance or upgraded shipping if desired. Shipping upgrades and insurance must be requested and paid for by the Client prior to shipment.
-
The Client is responsible for providing an accurate and secure delivery address.

10. Abandoned Orders
-
If the Client does not respond to design approvals, payment reminders, or other communication within 60 days, the project may be marked as abandoned.
-
In such cases, the Artist reserves the right to discard materials or complete the artwork at their discretion. No refunds will be issued.
11. Photography & Display
-
By placing an order, customers consent to Kat’s Flowers using images of the finished frames, as well as any wedding photos shared with us, for marketing and social media purposes, unless the customer explicitly requests otherwise.
-
If the Client prefers not to have their piece shared publicly, they must inform the Artist in writing before delivery.
