Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get my flowers to you?
If You're Local (New Braunfels, Texas):
You’re welcome to drop your flowers off at our home studio. The exact address will be provided once the deposit is paid.
Not Local? No worries! You can ship your bouquet to us. We’ll provide easy-to-follow instructions to help ensure your flowers arrive safely and in great shape.
Can you make jewelry with my wedding flowers?
Yes! We actually offer a wide variety of add-ons, including jewelry, custom coasters, ornaments, small accent frames, and much more.
Tip: they make perfect thank-you gifts for bridesmaids & moms!
Do you preserve funeral flowers?
We preserve flowers from all of life’s meaningful moments — weddings, funerals, baby showers, and any special occasion where blooms are part of the memories.
How long does it take once my flowers have been delivered?
The entire process can take between 3 to 6 months. Please keep in mind that this timeline may vary, but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way!
Do I need to be a bride to book?
Why can't I press my own flowers?
Certainly not. We love the thoughtfulness behind surprising a bride with such a meaningful gift.
While pressing flowers may seem simple, preserving a bridal bouquet is very different from drying everyday blooms. Wedding flowers are often treated with preservatives that alter the drying process, making them more susceptible to mold, discoloration, and breakage if not handled properly.

Even with practice, one small mistake can permanently damage irreplaceable flowers. Professional preservation ensures your bouquet is dried safely, intentionally, and beautifully—so your memories last for years to come.
How much should I expect to pay for shipping?
Many preservation artists charge hundreds of dollars for shipping—but not us! At Kat's Flowers, we’ve partnered with Pirate Ship to offer discounted shipping labels just for our brides. We’ll provide simple, step-by-step instructions to make sure your flowers are both affordable to send and arrive safely at our home studio.
